Last week, NDT subject manager Joseph and coordinator Marius attended the Norwegian Association for Non-destructive Testing's 2025 conference in Trondheim – and they returned both inspired and fascinated.
They explored cutting-edge technology from companies like Aker Solutions and FORCE Technology – including climbing robots, drones and artificial intelligence that could one day act as mentors in the field. Another important topic was recruitment. If we are to secure the future of NDT, we need to start earlier – perhaps as early as high school – and show how important and exciting this field actually is.
Ownership. Precision. Compliance. These are our core values – and they are essential in NDT. Staying up to date with methods, and constantly challenging and improving them, is how we make things safer, smarter and faster – without compromising quality. We look forward to seeing how both we and the industry can continue to develop this discipline for the benefit of our customers.
