Environmental tips September

The word environment can encompass so much, and doesn't just have to be related to green initiatives and outdoor activities.

Every month we send environmental tips to all our colleagues with simple steps on how we can take care of the environment. In September we therefore wanted to do something nice for the local community and invited the students in grades 5-7 at Dalsfjord and Folkestad schools to an indoor climbing event organized by Sunnmøre Climbing Club

The local community, where we try to stand up for each other, and a good work or class environment are also important to focus on.

With safety equipment and good tips from SKK operations coordinator Øyvind Festø, the children were able to try both bouldering and rope climbing.

In short, it was a couple of hours outside the classroom with community, activity, adrenaline, a sense of accomplishment, gratitude, and not least JOY.
